Latest Project
The Chamber of Senses is an immersive installation blending STEM and art through VR. This project, led by WEST in collaboration with Create Central , Dr. Azadeh Sarjoughian, and sound artist Maximiliano Q. Santander, aimed to open doors to STEAM careers for youth, promoting creative exploration and new career aspirations. Learn more about the project here.
RIVET Project
WEST C.I.C. worked with an international consortium on the project R.I.V.E.T (Rural Industrialisation via Energy Technologies) to bring clean energy to rural communities in Nigeria (funded by UKRI). Our role was to empower women in cassava food production using human centred design, by studying the impact of new patented innovative technology delivered by project partners PyroGenesys Ltd. Innovation Awards 2023 Winners
We were honored to receive the Director's Award in 2023 and to be shortlisted as finalists for the Engineering Innovation Champion in the business sector in 2021 and 2022. This recognition highlights our ongoing work in outreach and innovation, as well as our strong commitment to improving diversity in STEM.
